FAQs

WHAT TYPE OF PRETREAT CAN BE USED IN THE PRETREATMENT MACHINES?

We currently have tested DuPont light and dark pretreats used in conjunction with the ROQ GO, Firebird, and Brother. Any other brand would need to be tested.
HOW MANY RECIPES CAN BE SAVED IN THE ROQ READY?

We can currently save four unique recipes for light garments and four for dark garments. The recipe saves which pretreat machine you want to use, the length and width to pretreat, the amount of pretreat, the number of passes, flash temperature and time, and press temperature and time. In 2024, we plan on having barcode scan capabilities which will allow us to have a wider range of recipes.  Stay tuned.
DO I NEED TO PURCHASE BOTH THE LIGHT AND DARK GARMENT PRETREATMENT MACHINES?
 This depends on the type of pretreatment you plan on using. We use both light and dark pretreatment with the ROQ GO. Other pretreatment brands use light garment pretreatment machines based on them using the same pretreatment for both light and dark garments.
 
HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THE PRETREATMENT I AM USING WILL WORK WITH THE ROQ READY?
Check the list of tested pretreatment. If You don’t see Your brand of pretreatment on the list, we would recommend sending 10 liters of pretreatment and garments to the ROQ.US Digital Florida Tech Center. There we can test to ensure you are buying the correct pretreatment machine for your needs.
 
CAN I PRETREAT SLEEVES ON THE ROQ READY?
Absolutely. All You need are sleeve pallets. You can program the recipe to only use the center nozzles to prevent any excess waste.
